The BPMS Mk2 is a ruggedised uninterruptible power supply (UPS) that provides a regulated 24V DC supply to the host system. Lincad’s Portable Power System provides a 230V AC supply for mains powered appliances when a regular mains supply is unavailable. It includes circuit protection and an integrated charger for recharging from a mains supply when not in use.

The Soundranger is a 24V, 48Ah lead acid battery designed for Leonardo’s HALO (Hostile Artillery Locating) system and is available in different colours.

Providing a cost-effective solution to compliment lithium-ion (Li-ion) equivalents such as the LIPS 16, the Soundranger battery demonstrates that older technology can still prove a viable solution for certain applications.

The Soundranger is also available as a 24V, 100Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) variant. Backwards compatible with the lead acid version, it is an alternative battery solution for Leonardo’s HALO (Hostile Artillery Locating) system and is available in different colours.

The LFP Soundranger offers approximately twice the capacity and half the weight of the lead-acid Soundranger, and LFP offers improved safety over traditional lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery types.

Lincad is an authorised supplier of the Bren-Tronics BB2590 (lithium-ion (Li-ion)) and BB390 (nickel metal hydride (NiMH)) range of batteries used within a wide range of military applications.

Lincad is developing its own 12/24V, 13Ah BB2590 battery. Metal cased and with the ability to be repaired and refurbished, it improves the green credentials for this ubiquitous battery type.

The Fleet 2812 is a compact, lightweight 28V DC, 1200 W power supply designed to run from universal AC mains. Rugged and versatile, it satisfies front line military operating requirements for equipment requiring a 28V DC input.

The SquadNet Charger is a 12-channel charger designed specifically for Thales’ SquadNet radio batteries. The batteries lock into the charger using the same mechanism as they lock onto the radios. Charging is fully automatic, with LED indicators providing state of charge information.

Whilst the SquadNet battery can be charged on the radio via USB, the SquadNet Charger allows charging of multiple batteries separately from the radio. This eliminates radio downtime during the battery charging process.

The Caravel Mk2 is Lincad’s first multi-chemistry charger and incorporates the very latest in battery charger technology and design. It offers charging of lithium-ion (Li-ion) and other battery types from any original equipment manufacturer via battery interface adaptors (BIAs).

It features a transport mode to prepare Li-ion batteries to less than 30% state of charge for air transport in line with IATA regulations, and a storage mode to prepare Li-ion batteries to 50% state of charge for long-term storage. It also includes twin USB ports for charging mobile devices.

The Four Channel Caravel Mk2 maintains the full functionality of the Caravel Mk2 whilst allowing charging and discharging of up to four batteries at once.

The LIPS DC Vehicle Charger charges up to three LIPS 5, LIPS 10, LIPS 11, LIPS 12 or LIPS 15 batteries simultaneously from a DC output socket on a vehicle. It can be mounted into vehicles using a dedicated mounting bracket.

LIPS batteries simply click into place and charging is initiated through a toggle switch.  The charger provides flexibility when no AC source is available, allowing charging in a moving or stationary vehicle.

The Point of Sale (PoS) Multi-Dock Charger is a 20-channel charger for the batteries that power industry-leading PAX A920 and PAX A920 PRO PoS terminals used for mobile payments.
