Sustainability and the environment

Lincad is committed to being as sustainable as possible. We have implemented several environmental measures to reduce our carbon emissions from operations, including the installation of a 50kW solar PV system, new recycling measures around the business and LED lighting across the facility.

In 2022, we installed an electric car charging point in our car park, introduced a salary sacrifice scheme which allows our staff to lease an electric car through the company and achieved ISO 14001 accreditation demonstrating our ‘green’ credentials.

Ethical trading

With the rapid global growth in cell manufacturing capacity over recent years, we carry out due diligence of our suppliers to ensure the avoidance of conflict minerals and counterfeit goods in the supply chain.

We aim to source locally from the original manufacturer to improve supply chain management where it is practicable to do so. As the UK begins to build and recover from the Covid 19 pandemic we are committed to sourcing as much as we can from UK suppliers.
