Remembering D-Day
The D-Day landings of 6th June 1944 was the largest seaborne invasion in history tipping the course of the Second World War in the Allies’ favour. It marked the beginning of the liberation of France and Western Europe.
Today, on the 80th Anniversary, we honour our veterans and commemorate the fallen, securing our freedom and the peace we all enjoy today.
They paid the ultimate price for our freedom.
We will remember them. Lest we forget.
