Visit Lincad on Stand 44

Lincad will be exhibiting at Defence Procurement, Research, Technology & Exportability (DPRTE) 2016 which is being held at the Motorpoint Arena Cardiff on 16th March.

This is an event that will bring together over 1000 key decision makers from across the defence sector to examine the opportunities and challenges facing the modern-day UK Armed Forces. For Lincad, it will provide an excellent forum for demonstrating its industry-leading expertise in the design and manufacture of bespoke batteries, chargers and power management systems for military and other specialist applications.

The UK defence sector spends over £19 billion per year on equipment and services and the MOD has committed to a £160 billion spend across ten years in its Ten Year Equipment Plan 2012-2022. Of further significance to Lincad is the Government’s aspiration that 25{4aff493196277715e4d567e40d480e936b19538ec92e3fb54a5acc88489379da} of this expenditure should be with SMEs.

Lincad has been providing military power management solutions for more than 30 years, for applications ranging in size from man-portable equipment to artillery systems. Whilst the company’s main customers are the MOD and defence prime contractors, Lincad also supplies a number of armed forces around the world, both directly and indirectly.
