In November last year, Lincad was the winner in the Supply Chain category of the Insider Made in the South East Awards. Now, the company is looking forward to the finals of the Made in the UK Awards which are being held at Liverpool’s Titanic Hotel on 20th June.
Currently in their fifth year, the awards are a celebration of the country’s most innovative and dynamic manufacturers. With the shortlisted finalists for all of the 12 award categories having previously won a regional award, the event will be attended by representatives from some of the country’s most successful companies, ranging from SMEs to multi-nationals.
The awards ceremony will follow the Made in the UK Conference being held earlier in the day at Liverpool’s Exhibition Centre as part of Manufacturing Day at the International Festival for Business.
A UK leader in the design and manufacture of bespoke batteries, chargers and power management systems for military and other specialist applications, Lincad has formed partnerships across the supply chain, working closely not only with customers – including the UK MOD and defence primes – but also with key suppliers, particularly the world’s leading cell manufacturers.
