The Lincad team are all getting into the seasonal fun by taking part in Christmas Jumper Day, wearing festive sweaters and showing off their sillier side to raise money for charity.
Organised by Save the Children, Christmas Jumper Day takes place every year on a specific Friday in December in workplaces, at schools and in homes. This year, the day is today, the 16th, and Lincad will be donating £5 to the charity for every one of its employees who turns up to work in festive knitwear.
Established in 1919, Save the Children helped some 17.5 million children through the work it undertook last year. The charity runs some of the most highly regarded programmes to save children’s lives when disasters strike, to enhance their health and education in the poorest parts of the world, to end the exploitation of children, and to challenge world leaders to keep to their promises to give children a brighter future.
