Lincad presented its new Battery Logistics and Operational Compliance System (BLOCS) to an enthusiastic audience of leading global military organisations and representatives during Eurosatory 2022, which took place earlier in June 2022 in Paris, France.

The UK designer and manufacturer of bespoke battery and charger technologies for the global military sector showcased its innovative automated data label printing system for lithium-ion batteries. The BLOCS system identifies accurate states of charge for batteries and produces clear, accurate labels to demonstrate IATA-compliance for air transport. The labels produced can also be used to identify batteries destined for long-term storage.

BLOCS can have up to 32 compatible chargers attached via a network. This enables rapid processing of batteries prior to travel or storage and leads to a more streamlined logistics process. The network can take up to 192 batteries being processed and labelled simultaneously via Lincad’s six-channel Armada battery conditioner.

During Eurosatory 2022, Lincad’s five-strong exhibition team also presented the company’s popular range of lithium-ion batteries and multi-chemistry chargers and conditioners. These have been designed to ensure the easy management of battery fleets anywhere and at any time.

Pete S 1Peter Slade, Joint Managing Director at Lincad says: “We always look forward to exhibiting at Eurosatory and this year proved to be very successful for us. Our stand was constantly busy and interest in our new BLOCs label printing system for batteries remained high throughout the event. Above all, we were thrilled to be able to demonstrate its many advantages to audiences in person once again, following the past few years of pandemic-related disruption to live events, such as this.”
