Lincad announces restructures of its board. With 30 years of experience, Lincad’s expertise continue to take product performance to new limits, producing lighter, more powerful batteries with faster, more flexible charging solutions. Lincad can develop products in accordance with UK Defence Standards and US Military Standards, and has extensive experience in developing products where electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) may be critical. The majority of our products contain high energy density lithium-ion technology, but we employ the most suitable electrochemistry for each customer requirement. Lincad can also supply a range of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products.

Board restructures

The board restructures begin as Brian Soden is to move from his former position as Managing Director to take on the newly created role of Chairman in which he will continue to play an active part in ensuring the company’s continued growth. Mr Soden, who has over 45 years’ experience working in specialist battery technology as well as electronic systems engineering and hardware design, founded Lincad in 1986 with the primary aim of delivering better products and services to the UK MOD.

Two new Joint-Managing Directors have been appointed – Janet Rowe and Peter Slade. Janet was previously responsible for HR, marketing, event management and PR at Lincad whilst Peter was responsible for project management and new business development.
