Lincad will be attending the Counter Terror Expo 2015, which takes place from 21 – 22 April at Olympia, London. CTX is the leading international event dedicated to mitigating the threat of terrorism. The exhibition, which will feature over 300 exhibitors, showcases the latest counter terror technology and solutions, and in recent years has been the launch platform for some of the most innovative products on the market.

Lincad has history in the field of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD): the company designed and manufactured the high-powered lithium-ion rechargeable battery for CUTLASS, the fast, manoeuvrable remotely operated vehicle (ROV) rolled out to the British Armed Forces in 2012. Building on its expertise and reputation in the military sector, Lincad is keen to continue expansion into new markets where its battery technology can offer significant benefits. This includes the counter terrorism market, where its product range is of particular relevance. Recently, representatives from Lincad attended the UK Home Office event, Security and Policing, where the LIPS 14 battery – Lincad’s most energy-dense product to-date – was shortlisted for the Security and Innovation Award 2015.

By attending CTX, Lincad aims to grow its reputation as a company whose design and manufacturing expertise has significant potential to assist the police and other experts in protecting our nation and our people against the threat of terrorism.
